Meet Adrianne and Seth—a couple whose journey from coworkers to soulmates has led them to the beautiful Camp Wandawega for their big day. As their wedding planner, I’m so excited to share their story and give you a deeper look into their wildly personal and bold celebration.

Adrianne and Seth's love story began in the corporate hustle of Sears Holdings back in 2013. Despite the complexities of workplace dynamics, their connection blossomed over time, culminating in a heartfelt commitment in 2016.

Fast forward to April 14, 2022, a milestone day marked not just by the closing of their first home, but also by Seth's sweet surprise proposal—truly a moment of pure joy & excitement!

So, why Camp Wandawega? Wisconsin has always held a special place in their hearts. From their early days, Adrianne and Seth found solace in the tranquility of the Badger State, escaping Chicago's bustle to create cherished memories in its chill landscapes.

Choosing an eclectic campground nestled in the woods for their wedding felt not only natural but deeply meaningful—a place where they could share their union intimately with loved ones, far from the ordinary.

Beyond their love story, Adrianne and Seth are both deeply creative souls. Adrianne is a talented artist and the force behind Ponnopozz, a vibrant Chicago-based studio where she brings her designs to life through hands-on artistry. With a background in graphic design, she thrives in the world of bold colors and expressive compositions. Seth, meanwhile, blends technical expertise with a strong creative streak as a Staff Developer at Shopify. His ability to marry logic and artistry is truly impressive—something that was on full display when the two of them designed their own wedding website. And let me just say, after a decade in wedding planning, I’ve never seen a more incredible wedding site! Their eye for design, storytelling, and user experience made it a true work of art.

When we first started planning, I was tickled by their shared passions - such as bird watching, Dunkin' outings, and a surprising agreement on Rolling Rock as their favorite beer. Their connection, steeped in shared interests and a zest for life, shined through every detail of their wedding celebration.

An unexpected twist in their wedding planning journey added a touch of serendipity to their choice of venue. Six months after securing Camp Wandawega, a long-forgotten album surfaced from Adrianne's granny's basement, revealing captivating images labeled "Lake Wandawega, July 1926."

It turned out that Adrianne's great-grandparents had visited the very same place nearly a century ago—a discovery that felt like a loving nudge from generations past, affirming their choice with a sense of familial continuity and blessing.

I know you’re going to love the bold colors, thoughtful details, and pure creative energy that made Adrianne & Seth’s wedding so special. It was one of those incredible multi-day celebrations that I wish had a replay button—just so everyone could experience the magic again and again!
