An über festive winter wedding at Black Swan Riverwalk
My parents got married on New Year's Eve - right at the stroke of midnight. As they celebrate their 35th wedding anniversary this year (!!), I can't help but feel extra excited today to write about Nicole Joe.
When the Uttkes, Nicole + Joe's wedding photographers, introduced us back in March 2021, I was already pretty booked up for the year. They had that New Year's Eve card, though. And for me, that's solid gold.
It wasn't until I met Nicole + Joe over some beers that sparks really flew! These two attorneys stole my little heart; and I am honored to have played a small role in producing their New Year's Eve wedding.
It was always meant to be an über festive celebration - black, white and champagne all over is what we were going for. Nicole has such great style - working with her on final design notes was a breeze.
With style in mind, it's also important to note the incredible beading on her wedding dress. It was unlike anything I'd ever seen before; and so complimentary to the venue and overall 'vibes' of the day.
It's difficult to find a photo of Nicole + Joe not smiling. These two bring so much joy and fun into each other's lives - among many other wonderful, balancing traits. I love that these two were totally themselves throughout the wedding planning journey, and (most importantly) on that fateful New Year's Eve day.
And yeah, I might have went a little overboard on the disco balls. What's new?
